Lymphedema: Prevention and Treatment

Lymphedema: Prevention and Treatment will be held at the at the Lucy Curci Cancer Center on Wednesday, April 26 2017 from 12:00PM to 01:15PM.

Lymph node removal or drainage as a result of cancer treatment is a common cause of lymphedema, a swelling in the arms and legs. This informal discussion will focus on ways to lessen the risk of developing lymphedema and ways to manage early diagnosis.

Speakers for this event include; Danielle Meglio, COTA/L, MLT/CDT Community Class Coordinator, Eisenhower Rehabilitation Services.
