Shahriyar Tavakoli, MD

Dr. Tavakoli is the •Medical Director, Pulmonary Clinic and  the 40 bed Intensive Care Units located in Eisenhower Walter and Leonore Annenberg Pavilion. In addition, he is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and holds memberships in American Association of Bronchology, American College of Chest Physicians and American Thoracic Society. Dr. Tavakoli has held numerous administrative posts at Eisenhower Medical Center and will be the Chief of the Medical Staff beginning 2014. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. He continues to maintain an avid interest in pulmonary and critical care and most recently chaired the 50th Annual Weil Conference in Critical Care Medicine. In addition to his yearly Critical Care Conference held on the Eisenhower Medical Center Campus, he has authored several publications within his field.
