“The practice of medicine is just that — practice. Excellence in the delivery of medical care depends on the practice: the integration of a knowledge base continuously acquired over a lifetime of study, the assessment of the individual patient by listening and learning who they are and what they are experiencing, and the synthesis of patient and physician experiences and insights into a cohesive intellectual and emotional whole with the goal of finding a solution to a given health issue to maintain wellness and well being,” says Dr. Gaede.
In his time away from work, Dr. Gaede is the parent of six children and a caretaker of a menagerie of furry and feathered creatures and an old Saab. He enjoys music, reading, and the history of art and science.
