  • "As a child, I was fascinated with physics and electronics. I built electronic circuits and had a physics and chemistry laboratory at home. My grandfather, who was a general surgeon, and my mother who is a retired midwife of over 30 years have been the major influences in my life. Because of them I knew I wanted to become a neurosurgeon at a very early age."

Dr. Limonadi is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon specializing in brain tumors, minimally invasive spinal surgery, trigeminal neuralgia, facial pain, aneurysms, deep-brain stimulation and complex spine and chronic pain syndrome. While physics and electronics were initially hobbies for Dr. Limonadi, his interests evolved into what would become a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles and a position as senior associate engineer and scientist for IBM Microelectronics Division, where he developed his passion for utilizing innovative and state-of-the-art technologies in neurosurgery.

Dr. Limonadi graduated from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire, and completed his residency in Neurosurgery and in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Limonadi is a member of the American Medical Association, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, California Association of Neurological Surgeons, Trigeminal Neuralgia Association, and currently serves on the American Heart Association Coachella Valley Board of Directors as well as the Eisenhower Medical Center Cancer and Medical Executive Committees. He is also a member of the tumor, vascular and stereotactic and functional joint sections of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

Dr. Limonadi was named among America's Top Surgeons in 2007 and received Eisenhower Medical Center's Physician of the Year Award for 2007. He is recipient of Patient's Choice Award in Neurological Surgery in 2008 from American Registry and has been recognized among America's Top Doctors in 2008.
