    Meredith Pellegrini, RD, BS Meredith V. Pellegrini, RD, BS, is a Registered Dietitian at Eisenhower Medical Center. She has been employed at Eisenhower for 11 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville,TN. She furthered her education receiving her internship through Sodexho Healthcare in New Hampshire and Hawaii. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association and also a member of the California Dietetic Association. She also takes an active role in her Kappa Delta Alumni Association for the Coachella Valley.

    assets/news/story/cfhlimages/200505/joel.jpg Joel Hirschberg, MD Dr. Hirschberg is the Medical Director of the Arthritis Education Program at Eisenhower Medical Center. He earned his medical degree at George Washington University in 1976. He did his internship and his residency in medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Between 1979 and 1981, he was a Fellow in Rheumatology at University of California, Los Angeles.Today, in addition to his private practice,Dr. Hirschberg is also Chief of Arthritis/ Rheumatology at Eisenhower Medical Center, having begun the Rheumatic Disease Center at Eisenhower Medical Center.Dr. Hirschberg is a Board Member of the Southern California Arthritis Foundation.

    assets/news/story/cfhlimages/200505/neal.jpg Neal Hermanowicz, MD Dr. Hermanowicz is the Medical Director of the Phillip and Carol Traub Parkinson’s Center at Eisenhower Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 1985. He did his internship in internal medicine and residency in Neurology at the University of Wisconsin from 1985 to 1989. He has a fellowship in Movement Disorders at the University of Michigan,Ann Arbor. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Hermanowicz is also the Director of Movement Disorders Program and the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs at the University of California, Irvine.

    Elke Jost-Vu, MD Dr. Jost-Vu, Medical Director, Diabetes Program, Eisenhower Medical Center, is an endocrinologist with clinical, instructional and research experience in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. Dr. Jost-Vu graduated from the University of Heidelberg Medical School in Germany in 1981. She completed her residency in medicine at Community Hospital in Stuttgart, Germany. She also did an internship and residency in internal medicine at Kern Medical Center, Bakersfield, California, between 1986 and 1989, and a Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Los Angeles County University of Southern California Medical Center between 1989 and 1991.
